"ICE" SHOULD BE KEPT IN THY FREEZER - NOT in THY BOAT!

As the snow and ice begins to melt away and the temperatures begin to creep UP - - BOATS begin to go DOWN.  As predicted, this long freezing winter which gave us below "0" and single digit temperatures for an extended period of time also causing a total Lake freeze over that hasn't been seen in decades will wreak havoc on many boats.  Just like the "LARRY DON" story before this - - as the slow "thaw" begins - - boats that may have not been adequately winterized SINK.  This 320 Sea-Ray recently "iced up.  She will be recovered when the iced over Lake clears enough to remove her.
Though it appears somewhat normal - this flooded Sea Ray sits
on the lake bottom - due to low lake levels @ 654.2ft
Encased in 5 - 6 inches of ice covering the swim step and flooding
the engine room, the flooded vessel rests on the bottom.
No - this is NOT a runaway Ice Maker in the Salon!  The
flooded Salon cabin area is completely frozen over - -
Salon cabin with several feet of frozen lake water -
The Big Chill takes its toll - -
