DOWN - and - DIRTY!

Gravois Arm:
Earlier this month, this 1989, 25ft MAXUM,  fell victim to a badly rusted "Lift" mechanism which gave way and promptly dumped the little Bow-Rider stern first in to the drink - - possibly a combination of melting snow, rainwater runoff and dried out leaking stern drive boot seal, caused her to sink.
25ft Maxum, mostly submerged at dock
After some time, the owner contacted us to raise, trailer and hold it.  Last week,  along with Tim McNitt of Atlantis Dive, we raised, de-watered and towed her to ramp for haul-out awaiting owner pick-up.
Diver Tim McNitt, monitors the Lift Bag on stern of vessel while  she is being pumped out
Having been underwater and unused for some time - - the little boat was a bit "Dirty"

Atlantis Dive crewman Mark, removes the Lift Bag from stern, and
the little Maxum is safely recovered and ready for transport
REMEMBER -  HAVE A LIFT COMPANY PERIODICALLY CHECK THY LIFTS FOR WEAR -  AVOID THAT "SINKING" FEELING OF WALKING DOWN TO YOUR DOCK AND SEEING "ONLY" A "ANTENNA" STICKING UP OUT OF THE WATER - -!
