Its only Thursday and things have started out (or never quit) early - beginning @ 2:00 a.m. headed out to pick up a 42ft Chris Craft adrift with a belly up 12 volt electrical system and not real sure where they were. Located them about 15 minutes from my port and towed them 10 miles back to home. Got back in around 5:00 a.m. Left @ 0930 to pick up a Kawasaki PWC floating loose on its Hydro-Port2 drive on lift and impound it until owner can be located. These things tow like a submarine diving plane, meaning you can make about 4 mph before it decides to go "deep six". Towed it a little over a mile and we loaded it out on a rollback wrecker at a marina ramp near-by. (I know it looks like overkill - but beats dragging it on a flatbed trailer and our wrecker was close.) So we opted for the "easy way out" - -
Photos: PWC in tow on it's own "barge" & Capt Delton Jones (also wrecker driver in his "spare" time) "chaining" down his BIG load!
