Michael Gillespie, staff member and writer for The Pointe, a weekly newspaper based in Grain Valley, Missouri, focusing on local news, sports and events. The paper was established November, 1998. The paper serves Grain Valley and the surrounding communities with a circulation of 4,500.  Mike also provided us with lots of Lake area history,  interesting facts and legends on LAKE AREA HISTORY PAGES.
