BOATING EDUCATION IS YEAR ROUND - -

It is NEVER to early to begin to think about Summer, Boating and having FUN!!  Recently many of us have coped with a SEVERE case of Cabin Fever - -But, recently, the sun has shone and we have had some very warm days.  The snow drifts melted, the coats came off and SOME of us even got a "hair" and took an early boat ride.  Anxious - -?? Can't Wait? - You bet!!!! - - - In your haste - - don't throw caution to the wind - - NOW or at ANY TIME - -

REMEMBER TO OPERATE A VESSEL IN MISSOURI ANYONE BORN AFTER JANUARY 1, 1984,  MUST HAVE A MISSOURI BOATING SAFETY CARD.

Who Needs a Missouri Boating Safety Certification Card?
  • Anyone born after January 1, 1984, must successfully complete a boating safety education course to legally operate any vessel on the lakes of Missouri, including personal watercraft.
  • Successful students are issued a certificate by the Missouri State Water Patrol, which is valid for the student's lifetime.

DON'T WRECK YOUR'S (or anyone's) SUMMER!

BOAT RESPONSIBLY -

NOTE:  THE ABOVE PSA IS NO LONGER "ENDORSED" BY THE U.S. COAST GUARD - -
