SUNSHINE on my shoulder - Always makes me Happy!

This has NOT been a regular year by anyone's standards and it continues to turn ones thinking up side down. Traditionally the weekend before Memorial Day is slow;  A number of school graduations and people storing up for the upcoming long weekend generally makes for things being pretty dull on the water - - Not this last weekend! - The first really nice weekend, sunny, temps in the upper 80's plus - and what appeared to be lots of stored up cabin fever - put a whole "ship" load of folks on the water!  With all manner of breakdowns and, of course,  the inevitable BUI tow.  Our weekend case load breakdown ran something like this: - covering the lake up to the 36 m/m, Glaize and Niangua Arms.

1.  Out of Fuel (OOF)
2.  Water pump failure (Overheat)
3.  Spun Prop (BUS Mem)
4.  Engine Failure (BUS Mem)
5.  Broken water pump pulley (BUS Mem)
6.  BUI  - Impound
7.  Adrift / Abandoned - (MSWP) Impound, notify owner
"Rite of Spring"  (See BITTER END Blog) - A Bayliner w/spun prop - In tow
HST - 30 FT FORMULA IN HIGH SPEED TOW FOR OSAGE BEACH
2006 Voyager Pontoon - Adrift, badly damaged and poorly cared for -
