Well its been a rather busy time since my last post of July 12. I won't go into a lot of detail, but we have had over 18 cases since then, which run the range of, dead batteries, sunk-in-slip, escort due to navigation light failures and just plain routine tows. In addition we spent the bigger part of last week trying to get the 10 acres plus of pumpkins planted, while dodging the rain showers and soaking up the "souper" humidity and 95 deg plus temps in the field - - thats another story - We had 4 BOATU.S. member tows, at least three sinkers - - (Photo of 23 ft Rinker sunk in slip 6/19/09) along with a 1966 Owens and heading out the door right now for a 27ft Formula - - Sunk in slip due to collapsed lift - We also picked up three (3) additional BUI tows and we were paid a visit by MURPHY - who saw fit to give us practice in removing our towline from a BUI customer's prop @ 3:00 A.M. in the morning! - -
